Wonderful! I can't wait to see what you get. I guess some of the seed is damp packed (at least from Gardens North) so presumably he does the same? I'll have to check it out...
I don't know what damp packed is?
I know the plants came as little shriveled up things still in the dormant stage. Boy have they been taking off in our PNW spring weather.

Damp packed is not dried out. Some plants won't germinate if they're allowed to dry out (the seeds that is) so they pack them in damp peat moss or sand.
I'm doomed - I went and looked at Mesa Gardens seed list. Oh boy....

I'm doing a trade with a grower in Nova Scotia, who only has a few Sempervivum so I'll boost her collection, plus give her a couple of Rosularia (teensy tiny ones!) and she's going to send me some Semps that she has that I don't have, plus some Orostachys spinosa! So exciting! She says hers makes lots of chicks. Mine is still sitting there looking gorgeous, but not a chick in sight. Fingers crossed that she doesn't just bloom...
