Char said:100f so far....that sounds awful Linda. Cool mornings the past two days, 47 and 49. Day temps have been in the mid 80's with low humidity, not to bad if you skip the mid day hours and stay inside. Finished the garden project yesterday Now I have a lot of planting to rearrange this fall/next spring and even made space for a few new plants Scapes everywhere, when the magic starts and the blooms open it is going to be quite a show.
The weather report tonight included a bit of history. On July 4th 1911 the temperature was 105f, the hottest temperature recorded in Vermont. Glad I wasn't here in 1911.....
Beautiful image Charley, looks and sounds so relaxing and peaceful there.

Patchy fog before 9 am. Otherwise, mostly sunny. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph.
Kevin,
The Fourth was cold and misty here.
Charley,
Perfect first daylily!
I mowed yesterday after we fogged. It knocked them down pretty good. Last night they were horrible again. The town is supposed to spray again. I wish it was today.
Flood mosquito I killed on my lampshade.
