This is my mid-late, late, and late late list. I have several others that say they are late but it's the first year for them so several bloomed much earlier than they would normally. Most of these are either still blooming or are just starting for me now.
A Splash of Wine
Autumn Jewels
Big Smile (great rebloomer)
Blessed Art Thou
Bobbing For Poodles
Cherokee Star
Child of Bethlehem
Citrina
Crown of Creation
El Desperado (not as late as I'd like)
Final Touch
Genesta
Give Me Eight
Green Flutter (not as late as I'd like)
Heartbeat of Heaven
Heavenly Angel Ice
Heman
International Delight
Kachina Firecracker
Late to the Party (just starting to rebloom)
Moonless Night
My Big Brother Bobby
Penny Arcade
Poinsettia
Pray For Peace
Puffer Fish
Purple Many Faces
Red Thunder
Regal Finale
Soli deo Gloria
Steve's Corn Rows
Sun Panda
Thorhalla
White Perfection

Ginny - What is your very latest to bloom? That's a nice list you have compiled. Thumbs up

I looked at last year's pics and
Woman at the Well
Autumn Jewel
Going Bananas
Were blooming in October

When I Dream
Big Smile
Genesta
Sultans Expression

were still blooming in September

Those were my absolute latest. Some were on reblooms. There were more in late August but I'd have to look.

GIVE ME EIGHT started sometime the last week of June, which would make it about a Mid Late here. (I don't always record the exact FFO and LFO dates, but I DO mark an "X" for bloom during roughly quarter periods of the month: 1st-7th, 8th-15th, 16th-23rd, 24th-end.)

FROM THIS MOMENT ON is somewhere in the Late to Very Late bucket (it is registered as a Very Late), but I don't have enough of a track record (only 2 years?) to say which (plus it is growing in terrible conditions - shade, not enough water). This year FFO was somewhere in the 3rd quarter of July (16th or after).

Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

Poly that is a nice late one. Blooming in your zone starting in July is very late indeed.

AL'S PEACH TOWER
LAST BLAST
CLEVER ENDINGS
PARTY EVERY DAY
YADA YADA YELLA
SNEAKY GIRLS (rebloom)
WEBSTER GIRLS (rebloom)
MEAN GREEN (rebloom)
CELEBRATING WOMEN (rebloom)
and many of my own seedlings under evaluation

plus from other hybridizers
WELDING THE TITANIC (Bremer) a bud building sib to FIRE FOUNTAIN
HAROLD STEEN (rebloom)
and my very favorite....(pictured)
CAROLINA CARNIVAL (Santa Lucia)
It has a LOT of buds to go and has such bright color on these cooler mornings. I think it is the best of the "CARNIVAL" series because the colors are so clean. The petals are pastel orange.

To put a database image in your post click the image in the database that you would like to add. At the top you will see a line that says BB Code. Copy and paste the code, [db_photo] number [db_photo], in your post where you'd like the image to show. You can then check your post to see how it looks with the green preview button.

The ones blooming now in my garden, with lots of buds left to go are:
Last Flight Out
Anglican Church
Susan Weber
Here Lies Butch
When My Sweetheart Returns

Ones that have sent up scapes late and haven't bloomed yet:
Bluebird Butterfly - I didn't think it was going to bloom this year, but it sent up a scape last week. Much later than last year.
Oceanside
Moses in the Bulrushes

Also, I am seeing rebloom this year on some that haven't rebloomed before. I can only think it is the heat causing it. At least something good from our unusual heat,

Mike,
I first heard of Genesta from you, so thank you for that great lead. Now I hope to learn what bud building is by watching it happen on Genesta.
