Awesome feedback, guys. Bron, I've just rehomed the Bill Kessler seedling, even though I really liked it, because I decided I didn't want to go anywhere in that charcoal-eye direction - there are too many other things I like too!

It is so hot and dry. I am spending my pennies sprinkling tonight.

This is my strangest seedling. I nearly lost it to root rot in having to move it. The substance is like a thick piece of card board soaked in wax. I have been trying to cross it but no luck with its pollen working so far. MILANESE MANGOXSEEDLING 2012 057

The Australian hybridizer Mardi Waring died on 10 November 2016. She registered 30 daylilies all with the epithet of Linden. She and her husband retired in Harvey Bay in Queensland. Her funeral will be held on 22 November 2016.

She was always helpful and gave of her knowledge freely. She will be much missed.

Vickie, Mardi had actually stopped because of health problems towards the end of the last decade. She had so many cultivars still to register even then but time just moved on. I asked about photos to try and get them on the database but so many of hers were either lost or not elecronic.

My internet keeps dropping out. Maybe the modem is kaput.

Lovely blooms Glen. As far as I know I have only one seed pod, a bee pod, on a 'Maleny Eyecatcher '. There are not many plants that I wld like to load up with that extra task. I have to dig much more to plant what I have, then there are the 53 sdlgs from Della.

MISSOURI MEMORIES keeps going nicely. The diamond dusting shows up in the late afternoon sun

It would be wonderful if Mardi had a daylily fanatic near her who could register one of her recent seedlings as MARDI WARING or M W MEMORIAL.

Sorry I am not posting much. Apart from being away a bit, I am frustrated by technological problems. The on again off again internet seems OK now. But half the photos I take are focussed on the ground under the bloom. Thought it was my hands which are suffering from the work i have been doing. As well the Photos app on this laptop has updated to something even more user unfriendly.

I am flat out watering and weeding pots and trying to make more planting areas. Thankfully we have not had the constant wind for a while now. These are from a day ago when it was very hot.

I had to finish the last post as the next pic was stalled loading. MM looks cool and soft, like icecream or meringue buttercream

Nice to see DEBBIE MEAD. After struggling for the 3 years I have had it, it appears to have given up. Don't think it will revive as did DONNA MEAD as DEBBIE M has never looked healthy to me.
