Wonderful Bron. The mosquitos are terrible here at the moment. I go into the garden and they try to carry me away.

Blooms look lovely and healthy. Glad u hd some rain. We just have wind and forecasts of 30% chance of < 1mm. So not surprising when no rain happens. But at least sometimes cloud cover. Suppose sun and wind keep mozzies at bay. Only bad in evening.

PLANET MAX and DESPERADO LOVE look good together. Be great planted together with a dark purple one.

I think my LAVENDER SPIDER will b nice for landscaping. Can't contemplate digging out anything already planted in this weather.

Had to recharge all batteries. So blooms are after a day of heat and wind. Taken with my daughter's camera. Flash not great

Nice example in Ebony Jewel of how the sun can fade the color of a daylily. It seems such a contradiction that daylilies love and need sun but the sun washes out their color.

Nice to meet you Bron and Vickie. Smiling

Glen - I recently bought a small electronic mosquito repeller that clips onto your clothing. It emits the sound of dragonfly wings to keep mosquitoes away. It's not quite mosquito season here yet so I haven't had an opportunity to try it out. I'll let you know if it works.

Being the newby to this forum, I need to ask the dumb questions. May I ask what FFOS stands for? If I had to guess, I would guess first flower of the season. Am I close?
