Was a surprise when I got on this afternoon. Very different but sure I will get used to it. Think I will wait & see if I need to customize my home page! Whistling Hilarious! But I know where to come & ask if I need help.

I'm noticing that when I go to the first unread post, the menu bar at the top is covering the top of the post where the user name is. So I have to scroll up a bit to see who posted. Is anyone else getting that?

This has been asked by a lot of people. Right now I am sorry to say that this functionality is missing. Re-adding it will be something that is going to be challenging with this new system, but I will do what I can!

In the Plant Data Base when I select a plant I can not find "Edit a Plant Name".

I did finally find where I can edit General Plant Details. Whistling

When you are looking at a plant, on the left side you should see the options to edit it. That's if you're on a desktop. If your window is small, or you're on a mobile device, you may not have that left column, in which case just scroll to the bottom and it'll be there.

I had noticed this even before the change...no big deal to me to scroll up one. I guess it's just a quirk of any system. Even in many other non-gardening related sites I go on I have to do this. Shrug! Someday, I suppose, these bugs will be filtered out in all networks.

It's dark maroon?! I can't tell that it looks any different when I have a notification. I'm just here thinking that it didn't notify other than the pale blue box (which I can't see). Because it goes from Dark gray(?) to dark red, it makes sense that I can't see the change (I am red-green colorblind). It just continues to look dark gray to me.

On my iPad I just noticed when looking in a forum that when I scroll using my left hand thumb, the columns move to the left within the border. So I lose most of the "New" column. When I move the list of threads back to the right I lose part of the replies column. The page itself doesn't move around, just the threads within the border. Hard to explain!

Edited to add so far I only get that on the Plant ID forum.

Sue it does that because the table has too many items to display all at once, so the table itself becomes movable left and right. I hope that makes sense.

Yes, the username is hidden by the menubar; only the avatar photo and date show; we have to scroll back up a tad to see the username.

Yes, it makes sense, thanks. I guess there's something about the Plant ID forum that makes it wider than the other forums I looked at because so far it's the only one I've looked at that does it.

Oh my...certainly need to accommodate for color-blindedness. How about yellow color for notifications in the menu bar?

All I want is to have my threads that I'm "watching" (posted on) to shop up at the TOP of the page and not have to scroll down through all that "stuff" to get to it. Sorry, this aging brain can't figure out how to do that, even from what was said about how to go about it.
