Not the forum watcher, but the specific thread watcher page--which is now accessed by clicking here:

I'm just saying that it would be extra nice to be able to place that page directly on the homepage

Since this change, when I go to a thread I have not read all the way through it does not take me where I left off, such as working my way through this thread. If I leave and then come back I am taken to the next page. Even if I only read the top post, when I leave and come back I am taken to the next page.

James, I don't find "View your posts" particularly useful because it includes the threads I've unwatched. I only use "Watcher notifications" because it shows me new posts only in the threads I'm watching.

I discovered the same thing in the Plant ID forum, I had to close each image and then open the next one instead of cycling through them like we did before. Also once I've opened the image it won't move but, when I tried to move it to look at different areas of the image, the forum page in the background moves instead. This is on an iPad.

I also now need two "clicks" to go back to the list of forums instead of one but maybe that's something I can customize from my laptop. I'll have to figure that out later.

Dave - you changed the notification red! Yay! (either that or I am seeing better as the day goes on. Hilarious! )

It's definitely a "user preference" thing, Zuzu. I prefer the thread watcher because it's easier for me to see all of the threads that I am active on all on one page, without digging through each separate forum. Also, I follow and am active on some threads that happen to be in Forums that I do not follow/am not interested in following.

When you load a thread to read it, it does not know how far down you scrolled to read posts, thus, when you return, it assumes you read down to the last post so when you return, it continues with the newest post.
You can also change the number of posts you see per page, default I believe is 20, I have mine set to 500 so it will be a while before it goes to page 2. I like it that way so I can easily scroll back to previous posts without going back pages to find them.

Are we going to have the ability to click on photos again, so that they go to the next photo on the page? I loved that feature!

That is a great idea! I did not know that was a preference! Thanks

Still set to go to "first unread post" not "first un-clicked on page".

Edit: Calif_sue, has a short power outage just as I was about to click on "Finished". When power came back up I clicked without checking to see what was posted in the interim, so I miss your reply. Thanks for the insight.

@dave ,

is there any way to cycle through forum photos like we use to , rather then clicking and closing each one like I am now ?
