Sharon's daughter Ashley has taken both of them into her home. She said that Sunshine has settled in and is very happy.

That is very good to know, Mary Ann -- thanks for posting! Thumbs up

Its been awhile since I have spent any "real" time on site. Got a text today from greene that she was OK and asked me to post.....while looking at the list of forums for MAG I saw Garden of Memories Crying Crying wasn't here the last time I was. (at least I don't think so) Clicked on it and much to my dismay saw Sharon's name at the top. I too have been knowing and loving Sharon since DG....not as well as alot of you, but at times she was my ROCK. I remember when my daughter fell off of her horse and was kicked in the head. Not only did Sharon send her a card, but she sent one to me as well Smiling

You will be missed, dear sweet Lady, but never forgotten...you will forever be in my heart. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Mary Ann,
Thanks for letting people know about Sunshine and Daisy. If you loved Sharon you loved her animals just as much.

Mary Ann - Thank You!

You know .... at some point, someone should send Sharon's family this thread link. I think that they will find it a comfort and joy to read the posts and to follow the links within this link. Sharon left behind a trail of wisdom, joy, and love!

I agree. I would also like to know the web link to her obituary so I could send a brief condolence note to her family. I've been randomly searching online, but so far haven't been able to find one.

I just found this. Can't stop the waterworks for more than a few minutes, and I very rarely cry. Along with so many others, Sharon was a God-send to me in so many ways. She strenuously encouraged me to write even though I was terribly unsure of my abilities at that time. She was the wind in the sails that kept me moving through some very troubled waters, and I'll miss her greatly. She loved and wanted Nasturtiums quite desperately, and I took the following image today, (just before 4:00 PM) with the intention of sending it to her. At the time of her services I was walking my dog amid the woodland wildflowers. I'll console myself with the idea that although I missed her last tribute, at the very least I was walking in her world at that time. Till we meet again, my dear friend. Lovey dubby

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
