Still chilly outside but not as bad as yesterday and the day before. So I bundled up both Lily and myself and we just got back in from our 3 1/2 mile walk. It took us 1 3/4 hours and I am plenty tired now. Just want to rest.

I didn't make corned beef yesterday but am making it today instead. Smells so good and I just put in the veggies and it will be done when those are cooked.

Rita, I think it may be starting to warm up here too, just went out to feed the birds and I was too warm.

It is simply gorgeous out today. I spent some time up in the g'house; hosed the floor down to get rid of some of the crud and fallen leaves. Well, I did have to sweep first. LOL

Have had a really stiff neck for a couple of days. I think it's cold related and it put a damper on doing things. Came back after bell practice on Thursday evening and didn't leave the house on Friday or Saturday. This morning, the bells played (and did well); so I was out early to be at church at 8:30 to run them through their paces.

Stiff neck seemed to improve during the afternoon.

I'll go mall walking tomorrow.

I used my time to finally post and caption 2017 pictures of my hostas. I've been tracking them since 2008 on SmugMug. If they are of interest to you you can find them starting at: https://violaann.smugmug.com/G...

I've got the evening off. It's the end of March break in Ontario and so many people were away that they cancelled orchestra rehearsal this evening. But now that the neck feels better, I'll get the viola out. I've got a rehearsal next Saturday for the Mozart Viola, Clarinet, Piano trio that I'll perform in May. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Karen, I got some new clothes last fall and don't need anything yet. I've been stuck at the same weight for months.

We went for a walk yesterday. We have added two short cul-de-sacs to our routes. They add a few minutes. I was afraid we were dropping below 30 minutes. I'm up to 242 table pushups. Maybe at some point I'll try real ones. I have never been able to do them. I can't do the ones on my knees (we called those girl pushups) because I can't put any pressure on my knees. If I had to crawl out of somewhere, I'd be in trouble.

Happy first day of spring. I've started a new thread. You'll find it at: The thread "Support for a Healthy Lifestyle in Spring 2018" in Sandbox forum

And I started off spring by doing a good mall walk this morning.
