The frost has toasted my lilies that have emerged so far. The only saveing grace out of this is the dew on the JM's I wish my macro was better.

VirginiaRose's cobblestones are neater than mine!
And smaller, I think.
Someday I may dig a little trench to bury the bottom half.
But not today!
Today I'll be moving the flat rocks to make better bed borders.
Tomorrow I'll have trouble moving.... Sad

I like the look of all of those blocks and bricks. We don't really have any kind of edging or walkways here, except for grass. The woodland garden is edged with logs, and there's a bed that's raised with the help of field stones, but that's about it.

I love lpgs as edging.
When I lived out in the country, that was the crux of my plan.
Now on a small city lot, scavenging cobblestones (and bricks) has been the ticket for me.
Pittsburghers can find a fair amount of architectural debris....

I do too Rita, makes it look tidy. I have several different types of edgings, mostly just brick and stones that were left over from someone else's garden. I love river rocks the best, I live right down the street from a stone yard and have not gone to get any, just a truck load of mulch once in a while. Blinking
I also would love to have some flagstone, for stepping stones. Lovey dubby

I have used brick, belgium block and those interlocking edger pavers from Home Depot that are sorta a terra cotta color. Even the wooden 4 inch wide landscape timers like you get in home depot. I used to have unlined garden beds but no more. Everything has gotten some sort of edging by now. It defines the garden area as compaired to the grass and keeps the mulch in were it belongs.

Yes, that is what I like. The interlocking pavers seen to be a pretty good price usually. What do you call the curved ones, I guess you call them curved concrete bricks. I got some of those too. Thumbs up
