Beautiful Flowers! I have been wanting some of those daffs with the orange faces, what kind are they?

The ones shown in the backyard views are MARIA daffs I bought from Brent and Beckies.

Just add the MARIA daffs. You will like them, they are really pretty with deep orange trumpets. Of course there are many other daffs with orange trumpets also but maybe not as deep an orange. Also these open with the deep orange color. You don't have to wait for the trumpets to darken up.

Yeah, I sure will. They probably wont ship the iris till fall anyway.

Wow, you people got way ahead of me.

I use the kneeler with the handles as well. Just push down on them & up I come. No way to get up otherwise. Our daffs in fron of the stone wall along the street are in bloom. I have a picture from earlier years is around somewhere & when found perhaps I can get into the computer.

I have a picture of one of John's MDBs 'Rosa Brooks' taken at Winterberry gardens/ no irises in bloom here as yet. The I. reticulata bulbs have finished.

My new and improved front porch is totally enclosed. I finally have window boxes!!!!!

I took this THEN my brother in law moved the screen door from one entry to door to the other.

In too big of a hurry to take a pic.

the faster I go the behinder I get.

He started it around 1 Wednesday afternoon and was here Thursday, Friday, Saturday and then today. He does all our remodeling jobs and concrete work. He does such a great job each time AND he's a perfectionist so if he's not happy with it he doesn't stop till he is. We pay him, very good, plus feed him and the man can eat though you can't tell it by looking at him. Saturday He ate 4 bratwurst in a bun with all the fixin's and I think he would have kept eating had there been any left!

I don't know the indivual ones. I bought the single early tulip mix from Scheepers and that is what came up. But from what they sell in early tulips at their website I figgure the purple ones have to be PURPLE PRINCE. Not sure what the hotter colored one is.
