Todd, you need to start a flower photography cubit. Amazing!

Ursula, I assume you mean you can't see the flowers in Pleuro. striata? Enlarge the first photo and look into the topmost sheath to the left of the center leaf. See the little pinkish bud and stem in the sheath? There's another bud to the left of that leaf, and lower down, on the leaf that is almost open. I can see others, but could only catch those two in the light and at that angle. It's like reading an ultrasound. Smiling

Janice that is one large flower on the first post and that is a great paph! Most of mine are sequential and bloom forever. That last phal is a drama queen (that's what I would name it)!

Phal lueddemanniana opened a first flower today. I seem to do best with species.
