Every Sunday morning when the plantation is just beginning to wake up, Perry Nugent, a local ornithologist, meets with any guests willing to make the trek around the property to enjoy the sights and sounds nature tends to offer at Magnolia Plantation. This group is especially keen on finding the feathery friends who enjoy the beautiful grounds and swamp areas the plantation provides. Bird watchers and photographers alike, can take advantage of the knowledge Perry shares with his group. Come and join the fun! Coffee and a cookie provided after the tour.
