I wish there were a plant with mosquito repelling virtues, but there really isn't. Sometimes I see advertisements for Mosquito Plants in magazines. These plants are supposed to repel the pests, and they might - the plant is really a scented geranium and if you crush the leaves, the citrusy odor might keep the little beasts away. But it won't kill them. And, I'm not convinced that the pests will stay away from people if you crush the leaves of a plant. They're more likely to stay away from the plant! You may want to try using citronella candles instead. Hope this sheds a little light on the topic!
