I live in an area in So. California that has very mild winters. It does reach freezing but not for very long periods of time. Would it be okay to start sweet peas in the fall or is it best to wait till Spring?

You can sow seeds of sweet peas now. They grow best in cool weather and tolerate cool soils. If you sow them now, you'll get a jumpstart on the spring season!
