Last year I planted a hibiscus. During the cold weather it lost its leaves. This spring the shrub came back. But the leaves are what appear to be less than 1/2 their normal size. It is however producing numerous flowers with the small leaves. Is this normal? |
It is normal and as the season progresses your plant will develop larger, healthier looking leaves. Hibiscus thrives in the heat so I think your plant will develop lots of healthy new leaves and lots of flowers by the middle of June. Enjoy! |
