The Green Pages: Shady Rest Gardens (E-Commerce Companies)

Yesterday I received my daylily order from Doris Bishop, Shady Rest Gardens. Plants were well packed and are healthy, large plants with good root systems. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend.

Received first order from Shady Rest today. Big, healthy, generous fans, and a thoughtful bonus/gift plant. Communication was great! Very happy with entire transaction. :-)

Received my first order from Shady Rest Gardens and was very impressed with the size and quantity of the fans. And the bonus was large and one I would have picked myself. Communication was also prompt and informative.

Altogether, an overall good experience.

I received my first order from Shady Rest Gardens, and I certainly hope there will be more in the future. This order was a perfect example of how business should be conducted. Communications were exemplary, the shipping was timely and professionally handled, and the plants were beyond my expectations. The double fans of the plants I ordered were all more than that, and in some cases three times more. The bonus plant was really a clump! I could not believe how green and fresh the plants looked when I opened them. That to me was the very best bonus one could possibly hope for.

Doris and David Bishop are integrity personified. I have gotten plants from them on 2-3 occasions and have always been very pleased. They send healthy plants with extra fans or bonus plants. Highly recommend.

Happened upon their classified ad here and posted my order. In no time, I received a tree mail and the shipping and payment were taken care of. Quickly received nicely packed, healthy, fresh plants. I was consulted regarding a substitution and was offered a refund as an option as well (took the substitution). Very pleased and couldn`t be happier with everything.

Sept. 30, 2015: Today I received my second order from ATP member Casshigh (Doris at Shady Rest Gardens) and as with the first order, I am extremely pleased with every aspect of ordering from Doris. The shipping date was exactly as stated, packaging was exceptional and I received large, healthy Daylily fans. Thank you so much Doris, for another great purchasing experience. I will look forward to your sale again next year!


Aug. 20, 2014: Last week I placed an order for daylilies from Shady Rest Gardens through a classified ad here on All Things Plants. My package arrived today and I am so pleased with the size and health of the plants. All fans were labeled, packing was exemplary, and shipping was very quick. There was great communication regarding my order and I truly appreciate the A+ customer service. I will definitely order from Shady Rest Gardens again in the future.
