My blueberry patch is getting over run with a mossy like weed that is immune to even double concentrated Round Up mixture. I've even tried a white vinegar and table salt mixture which only burns the top out of it. If reminds me of a succulent. It'll grow anywhere, and it's like every leaf is a seed.

I've up loaded a couple of pictures below in hopes that someone can identify it and tell me what will kill it--other than pulling it----which would take me a week at 8 hrs a day. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, looks like Purslane. Yes, Round Up won't kill it.

Thanks, but I don't believes so. I just searched your suggestion. The leaves are really tiny. About two to three times the size of the head of a straight pen. The flowers--if you can call them that--are smaller than the leaf. You could probably fir one of them on the head of a straight pen.

There are many different Portulacas........Purslanes. Google noxious weeds.

No, it's not Purslane. I know what that stuff is. I get it now and then too. This stuff is really invasive . It's mossy like.

Maybe yours is stressed. It has all the other characteristics to be Purslane.

Looks like Artillary Fern to me.
When I lived in South Florida, it got into most of my Orchid plant pots and a very large number of my container plants as well.
I never tried to spray it, it was much safer and easier just to pull it out.

BigBill, Look closely at the succulents leaves and stems. Artillery Plants aren't succulent.

Big Bill That's it. You nailed it. Now if I can find something to kill it other than me crawling over a half acre and pulling it.

Try Shoreline seapurslane ( Portulaca portulacastrum)

Looks like what we call Artillery plant to me, too. (Pilea microphylla) A difference of opinion, I guess. Those leaves are very tiny, yet they are still as thick as any regular leaf 10 times their size. Even when I was a kid, I had made this observation.

Ok, I concede. The Artillery plant that pops up in my greenhouse (the only I've ever seen) has the same growth habit but the leaves are very thin. Now I have to go find one and take a photo (before I rip it up).

PS: I just checked. Roundup won't kill Artillery Plant either.

I know, I pour straight concentrate Round-upon it, and it did not phase it. The price of the only stuff (Ronstar 50 WSP) that I've found that will kill it will also put me in the poor house. It looks like I'll be on my hands and knees for a week or so.

Stay away from that stuff. It over took a half of an acre of mine in no time at all. It is even growing on the sides of some of my 55-gallon plastic drums. The horrible thing about it is they are selling the plant on the net (on Etsy). They are asking $9.00 for a 4 inch pot. At that price, I have a half a million dollars worth. Anyone selling that crap should be shot.
