Yep, wolf spider. This is a good spider to have in the house. Just leave it alone and it will work for free. If you do not pester the spider it has no reason to bite. If a human or dog should get bitten it will be painful but not deadly.
We sometimes have a wold spider take up residence in the corner between the wall and the ceiling. We don't bother the spider and the spider doesn't bother us. However...
...if the spider decides to start walking around and getting underfoot, it gets relocated to the great outdoors.
