Thanks for the replies, Im now thinking it could be Zanzibar, Ive got 4 cuttings of her so look forward to them rooting soon

Ive read that depending on the nursery and growing conditions Zanzibar has several forms and can vary quite a bit so after looking round for what seems like forever at online photos I think its the most likely match

I wonder what @ScotTi thinks about it, I know he has a lot of knowledge on these varieties

Phil, Looking at the photo I will not say that the plant pictured is definitely Zanzibar. The leaves are being held upright unlike Zanzibar with has long arching leaves.
I do not know of another Narrow leaf Croton with upright leaves except for Picasso's Paintbrush. Leaves are not narrow enough for Picasso's Paintbrush.
The posted photo looks as if the mature plant was heavily cut back. The upright leaf growth pictured could be a result of the main stem being cut back heavily. This could result it a quick flush of growth not resembling the true look.

I understand what you are saying, I suppose I will just have to see what comes from the cuttings I have taken and hope they show its true identity early on, nothing worse than having an unknown but it is a nice looking variety

If I see it I will definitely pick one up, we have a decent enough selection of crotons here on the small island of Gran Canaria but they only label them as codiaeum variegatum and when I ask them what their varieties are called they don't know

That is how orchid nurseries in the Keys are. They sell by color

So.............. my 4 mystery clones have rooted, any takers on if they are looking like Zanzibar yet! 😆 🤣
