I have Rowitha coming this spring. It became a had to have when I saw it blooming at a friends house last year. Glad to hear good things about it.

Here is So Blue Without Theresa, first bloom this year. It has had to contend with the mole problem, so not as big a plant as it should be, and I really haven't been paying much attention to it. However, this morning as I was taking its picture, I noticed that the green throat seemed to be glowing, as if lit from within. Now, it may have just been a trick of the light, perhaps the sun catching it just right. but it was blooming down low, almost in the foliage so I didn't think the sun would reach that low. So I see this picture shows what I saw--very interesting.

I should correct this: the name is Westbourne So Blue Without Theresa.

New this year - grandma's little sweetheart

Both Westbourne So Blue Without Theresa and Grandma's Little Sweetheart are lovely cultivars.

The green throat on Westbourne So Blue Without Theresa really does glow

And this annoying unresolved noid, which is probably too big for a miniature (5") but Avedon's picture of 'Westbourne So Blue Without Theresa' caught my eye with the same green throat.

Gleni, thanks for the picture of your NOID with that green throat that seems to glow. I thought it was just my imagination, something I wanted to see, but apparently not. I just wonder how many other DLS might have the same thing.
