@Lisa, our Little Trooper has a scape and we hope for a flower soon--love it. Everybody's flowers are great.

Here is Lullaby Baby, first blooms ever. Picture taken last evening in 80+ degree heat and this one looked great.

It's funny how seeing pictures of these minis makes them look like 5" blooms until someone puts their fingers up next to the bloom Smiling That really brings out the perspective of just how small these blooms are.

I think that's why Pixie Plaything really stood out for me. It is adorable! Of course, there are many others that I liked, but that one seemed so darn cute Hilarious!

I have noticed that for some reason some of the blooms on my plants seem smaller than they were last year (of course many are also larger), but because they are so small they look like minis.
'Blue Moon Rising' stats show it to be three inches, mine is much smaller. Here is a photo of it:
Thumb of 2016-06-09/Seedfork/0d15e7
I then took a photo of it along with a bloom form 'Spacecoast Tiny Perfection; for size comparison. Stats show it to be 2.87 inches.
Thumb of 2016-06-09/Seedfork/b2c819
Then I took a third photo of 'Blue Moon Rising' along with 'Woodside Amethyst' for size comparison, stats show it to be four inches.
Thumb of 2016-06-09/Seedfork/6e94de
I have noticed one or two other plants in the garden with small blooms (they weren't blooming today) and I can't remember what they were. I will keep an eye out for the small blooms.

Larry I was noticing the same thing on the only plant I have blooming. The flowers on Butterscotch Ruffles seem a lot smaller to me this year. I thought it might have been from the fact that the plant had a tough time surviving last winter. The fans are smaller than normal too.

Although I HATE to take this type of picture ( because it is not aesthetically pleasing) I've been trying to get a few shots like this on some of my selected miniatures to help illustrate just how small the blooms are, as it is impossible to tell this from a picture.
This is MAYOR OF MUNCHKINLAND, one of my favorite minis! One picture shows the lens cap beside the bloom.

This is an oldie, BLUE MOON RISING.

Hmm, seeing these in preview mode, I guess you must open the entire picture to see it all. Only part of the picture is showing up.

I certainly hope we can make everyone aware that in all the photo forums you must click on the photo to expand the photos, if you are not doing that you are missing out totally. I have noticed several people posting lately that they were unaware that the photos would expand when clicked upon.

Not as aesthetically pleasing as your usual photo, no. But infinitely informative on what you are seeing in the photo. Very useful. A lot of the time, a useful photo is much more practical than the proverbial 8x10 glossy. The latter is the ideal and fulfilled potential of what can be; but a useful photo keeps you grounded in reality which staves off disappointment.

Two new small ones today---first, the order from Bonnie Nichols, planted April 25 . Here is the beautiful dark Night Dreams

Well, I can't show you but I can tell you that my order from Michele arrived this morning and she sent fabulous plants. I could hardly believe the size of Black Velvet Baby and Everybody Loves Earnest. She also sent a bonus plant, not a small one, but one called Bonnie Fee Fi Fo Fum. It is very fancy, something I have practically nothing of.
