Arlene in fine style Hurray!
Got some stuff put away in the new shed and clean out the garage that I took over with my gardening stuff.
DW is happy that her car is sheltered again. On the way over to the compost site today a Lady in front of me had her car trunk stuffed with bags of leaves and one bag on top of the open trunk lid. Let's just say that I am glad that I wasn't following too close. Had to back up and take this pic. No harm.

I made it home safely from work. It was a steering wheel clenching drive. The roads hadn't had much attention from the plows yet. It has stopped snowing for now. One nice thing is that it is the light and fluffy type of snow.

Gary glad you made it home OK. Went out today and fired up the snow blower and cleaned off the driveway. Some more snow is expected later

We do have four seasons here, but only at night! Tonight dips down to 20's, but during the day it'll warm up to 50's. Need to harvest Swiss chard because the outer leaves get wilty when there is a cold night. Also we are thankfully getting some rain, so now I have to do my final garden chore of putting the lasagna layers in my raised beds. Need to get chicken poo from my farmer friend.

No outdoors today. Groceries early this AM. High 24* and windy.
Predicting a low tonight of 14*

I shoveled. AGAIN! It is very cold out but with the exercise it is tolerable. It is also nice that there is some sun today. Makes it a bit more cheery!

Checked mail a few times, no mail service here today apparently, fed cat, gave the wild animals water bowl fresh water and pretty much stayed inside. Tomorrow we'll break out the hair dryer or leaf blower on the vehicles. Hilarious!

Not all bad here , frozen car in the garage , (sometimes the outer door sticks frozen , only cold with new snow cover , ice under slippery in a few places .put some salt down for that , planted about 20 poppy plugs while playing in the warmer part of 30's degrees
Cold today though all frozen again ,

No it wasn't NewyorkRita.
@pepper23, does any of your cars have remote start ? When you get the doors open use some silicone spray on the rubber (weatherstrip) seal around all the doors and trunk seal.
It is also a good time to spray all the door lock cylinders with it also

I wish!!! That's one of the few features I don't have on my truck. That and heated seats. I will add the spray to our list to get. We did manage to get the doors open. My dad used his height and weight against the doors a bit and we started up the vehicles to get them thawed out.

Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one hibernating! Other than filling the bird feeders, I'm staying inside where it's warm! We did take a drive down to the dam today to see if the eagles are here for the winter. Yes, they are! Now I'm going to have to bundle up and go take some pictures.

I basked in the sunshine! Had to get my brakes fixed. While I waited I sat on the sunny side of their lobby, and it was so nice and warm I could just about doze off. I think I may be picking up some of my cats' habits.

There will be a quick trip to the mailbox for me and that is it. It's still really cold here in AR. I long for the warmth of FL but we won't be going there until the middle of January.
