This is what happens when you don't get your dog spayed in time LOL.

The sweet mama was Ashley. She was another American Eskimo like Aspen. She had a great disposition, and we actually didn't spay her at 6 months because we were thinking about breeding her. Needless to say, she took care of it herself. We kept two of the pups - Jake and Jordan, and the other 4 went to family and friends. All six of those pups were well loved - even that holy terror Jake. I have a real soft spot for all dogs, but Jordan, the little female that we kept, was that once in a lifetime special companion for me. In the 3rd picture, Jordan is the second pup from the left and Jake is the last pup on the right.

Terri, your unplanned litter turned out great for everyone involved.

I will be getting my little girl spayed for sure as I really don't want pups!

Today was a great day with the dogs. Some of us ladies got together and took our dogs to this private beach where they could play while we sat and talked and watched over them.

I just bought a new pet turtle. He does not eat, sleep or poop. He just sits in my kitchen and looks at me. I love these kind of pets. I am a turtle freak and of course I do not have any pet turtles due to the restrictions here in NJ, plus they are a bit difficult to keep with dogs and birds, etc. But, I am the kind of person that will stop in the middle of the road until the turtle crosses and I love to watch the eggs hatch at the shore and watch those little ones find the water. But, this will have to do. I just could not pass him up. Am I crazy or what?

Rita, it is the perfect house pet. Actually it is for the garden and has a little section under it to put an extra set of keys I guess for kids who come home when parents are working. I bought it just for fun and when I got it inside Charle fell in love with it and he would not leave its side for the longest time. He kept kissing it. It was hysterical...so I just have not taken it outside yet. I love my dog.

I am really worried about my little dog freezing in the nasty winter months. So I found her a nice and sturdy and looks to be really warm field coat at LL Bean. Should keep her warm.

Looks like a very nice, warm coat! I'm sure she'll enjoy many walks in the cold with it on! Smiling

YOu are such a good Mommy. That little dog is so lucky to have you concerned about her warmth. Charle on the other hand has so much hair that he just loves to roll and play in the snow and never seems to mind the cold one bit. I think the different breeds all have their own likes and dislikes.
