Yah -- Arlyn and Tom got it right. I love white Irises -- one of my favorites is Nordica, which is just beautiful. My complaint is that I bought a pink Iris and I got a white one. As far as the flower itself is concerned, it's ok. Not as pretty (dramatic) as Nordica. But I don't think they make a non-beautiful Iris. Green Grin! And white goes with everything! And it reblooms. What's not to like?

Immortality seems to be slow in starting to bloom here. but it was one of the few iris to rebloom in our garden on a regular basis. the other one was Pink Attraction. Champagn encore has never done so, but very good at it in my daughter's Ohio garden. but she is on the same latitude as Hartford CT while we are north of that.

I have not had any of my rebloomers re-bloom ... yet. We have had a wetter and slightly cooler summer than most years so maybe a few of the dwarfs will give it a try. Immortality has grown a lot this summer too, so maybe it will try for a fall bloom as well.

And Arlyn - sorry to hear you have litter box issues! You must have nice garden soil... (no pun intended?). Hilarious!

I just had a thought today (amazing ,isn't it !!) after discovering some rot issues while on my walk-a-bout. We battle "critter attacks", bugs, rot, leaf spot, weeds, grass, borers, floods, and or ,drought for about 8 months out of the year, and frozen ground, bitter winds, and frost heaving for the other 4, just to see a few weeks of bloom Blinking . I think we're ALL nuts!!........but we just can't help it, can we Thumbs up .Arlyn

I'm just about as nuts with tomato plants as I am with iris, I have 27 plants, and now they are starting to ripen. Yesterday I canned a 4 gallon pail of them, and today I piced about 6 or 7 gallons more that I have to can tomorrow. It's supposed to rain, so I might at well can tomatoes. I guess insanity shows itself in lots of ways!!! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Confused

Tom, you and Rita (Newyorkrita). Big Grin I think she has around that many tomato plants, too, this year, maybe more. 'Cept she gives most of hers away to neighbors, service folk, and the park gatekeeper across the road from her house. Hilarious!

Thank you very much Tom, Bonnie and Mary Ann! I got to that point of seeing the writing and that's when I thought I did something wrong. I will give it another try. I'll check out my picture and do a comparison to Immortality.
Thanks again everyone. Barbara

This was sold as Gold Galore that I was thinking might be Mesmerizer. Sorry the picture uploaded sideways.

Phillip, that first iris looks exactly like Mesmerizer. I bought one supposed to be M but turned out to be Wedding Vow. They sure get these white ones mixed up!
