Kabby, what pretty blooms! I like Wildfire Silk a lot but I really love All American Chief! LOL regarding your DH mowing down plants with his truck. My DH used to take the weed whacker to some of my plants. Unless they are in bloom he has no clue as to what's a good plant and what's a weed; after almost 46 years of marriage I still have to watch him when he's got the string trimmer going! That being said ... although I've never mowed down plants with my car, I have taken out a few sprinkler heads when backing my car out of the garage trying to get by his big truck. Green Grin!

The only two DL's in bloom at my house this morning,

Midnight Raider ...................................... Fire Coral

I have some "hit and run" to my sprinklers and a plant or two Rolling my eyes. . Recently I created a little berm which actually looks ok (no I do not drink and drive!)

I thought I had transplanted Sabine Baur but this little one came up instead Grumbling

Ill be posting a picture of Fire Coral today myself. Its one of the only plants Ive bought for a second time. It is one of Nicoles early ones, but one that used to bloom big blooms with the greatest of colors, for me. MR is looking good with that green throat as well.

A side note to my Fire Coral. I actually found it from FalgonG on the LA. They have older plants, had seen there name for years, never ordered. Darned if that didnt turn out to be my healthiest ( after settling in..not from box) new fall plant, and full of scapes this spring. The flowers need another winter to get really good, but I love them anyway.

Last March I received Crimson Pirate from Wild's as a bonus plant, plus I had it already from Lowe's I think, anyhow it multiplied like crazy and I divided some of them up. This is a bloom from one of those divisions.

This is blooming just a little distance from my Baja, it looks like it could be a cross with it, they are similar.

These two blooms certainly need to improve over the next few weeks. Hard to pick them out of a line up with these mug shots?

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! This has been by far my most stubborn daylily, so I'm thrilled that it decided to be the first bloom of the year! It didn't bloom until the end of June last year, so this is extra early. I couldn't be happier! I have only one other scape on another daylily, so I'm overly excited!

Oooh, NOT Country Melody is gorgeous! I'll be real curious to hear if anyone knows the name of that beauty! Is it an evergreen variety?

Today's Munson offering is Marquesa, not a very common daylily.

This one has a name but I'm going to have to go back through files to narrow it down.

GaNinFl,
I think the name tag in the photo needs to be changed.

Seedfork, I agree

Label will be changed for sure, perhaps this weekend. I also tagged the photo with mislabeling explanation on the home page for 'Return A Smile' Sighing!

OK, so the below is a return from the dead daylily that I resuscitated with a lot of TLC and attention. I have 3 or four of the original daylily's I purchased years ago and when they were transplanted they didn't like their new home location and almost died out on me. So, I dug them out of their resting place and potted with black gold and alfalfa pellets. Guess whose baaack! Hurray!

Opened overnight and I was so excited, I took the picture this morning at 5:00am....
