sooby,
That is a great question, I took two photos of the bloom with the bug, then went and took photos of different plants, came back and took one more photo of the plant with the bug on it. The thing is I never noticed the bug until after I saw the photos on the computer. *Blush*

xenacrockett, Gus is a handsome DL!

GaNinFl, those are both very pretty! My Denise is such a nice lemony yellow and I love the color and those ruffled edges of Nita Juanita.

The garden is looking better as more plants show multiple blooms.

Seedfork, you sure have some beauties ... your garden must truly be a sight to see! Thumbs up

I have maybe a dozen DL's, all in containers but after viewing everyone's photos here and all the gorgeous bloom photos in the database ... I dream of having acres and acres of Daylilies! Lovey dubby

plantladylin,
Oh, my garden is "a site to see"... Who ever said pictures don't lie?
The third one from the bottom is "Heaven's Portals", a far cry from what the first washed out, blotchy blooms early in the year looked like. This warm weather has completely transformed the pale colorless blooms resulting from those weeks in the 50 degree range.
GaNinFl,
The double purple is a small bloom, and I hope to be able to find out later in the year what it actually is. I was most impressed the with the purple in the first photo, a large beautiful bloom on a tall stout scape.
Well that may not actually be purple, but my color vocabulary is pretty limited, Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, ....I asked my neighbor to come over the other day and help me with some colors, decorator or artist colors are beyond my descriptive abilities.

I should have a few different to photograph today, when I get home. That is unless the thunderstorms wash them out...
