I started with the Kincaid markers -- and never had a single reason to switch to anything else. The markers are sturdy, they angle the nameplate upwards so you don't have to bend over to read it, once they are sunk in the soil it is VERY hard (read nearly impossible) to uproot accidentally -- certainly not by dogs/cats/deer/racoons/etc. I bought my first markers from them in 2009, so some of them are 7 years old and still look new. The Brothers tape labels have held up as well as the markers themselves.
I think that two of the above Irises have been identified correctly. Each Iris is unique and has very distinguishing characteristics -- especially Red Canyon Glow, which is drop-dead gorgeous!!!
