A couple pics of Purple Emperor. It is a bit crowded in there, next year I will give it more room and not plant those big marigolds so close. I love how it looks growing next to the Nora Leigh Variegated Garden Phlox. I should have some nice blooms soon.

Thanks so much. I just love the Purple Emperor.

Here is a pic of my Autumn Joy. There are two different sedums here but they are very close in looks, not really sure what they are. I like the Echies growing with them and the dark reddish leafs of the Crepe Myrtle.

Wow, I love the Crepe Myrtle with the sedum. It's beautiful. It will still be a lovely site when the sedum blooms color up. What color are the Crepe Myrtle blooms.

I have three of them, that one is Royal Burgundy. Here is a pic from last year. It hasn't bloomed yet this year.

Here is an old pic of that bed from a few years ago. The two sedums are blooming with the CM. There isn't much there yet, note the MG trellis off to the side.

Here is a pic from earlier this summer on the same bed. Just extended a bit. It has turned into a nice planting.

I put another upright sedum in that bed, too. You can just barely see it in the last picture, between / behind the two blue Veronica Royal Candles.
The new sedum is Autumn Delight. It has gotten a bit buried behind some very large marigolds. Actually almost everything in that bed is buried behind those big marigolds. I will know better next year. Here is a current pic of that same bed. All those pretty colorful zinnias are behind the marigolds. I knew the marigolds got big but I thought the zinnias would get taller. The zinnias do look nice with the tall sedums.

Holly that bed is maturing beautifully. I love the Dusty Miller in with them. I also love zinnias. To me they are such a cheerful flower. What color is your Morning Glory.
Arlan sent me some seed which I started. The germinated very quickly but are just sitting there about 3" tall. I think our nights and day time temps are just to cool this year for them. : (

Lavender. I didn't bother to plant any this year just let the self seeded MG come up. Ric ordered me some really nice MG seeds but I have misplaced them somewhere. Well maybe I will find them for next year.

Here's a picture of sedum Red Cauli taken yesterday. It has a distictive habit compared to my other upright sedums in that its canes arch out.

There's a closeup of the bloom from last year in the database:

I should probably add this new picture to the database as well.

Here's a picture of Maestro taken yesterday. It recovered pretty well from the hail earlier this year, but definitely looks different than it did last year:
http://cubits.org/sedumandsempervivum/db/sedumdatabase/image/25346/

The flower heads are smaller since they are from side shoots, the hail having broken all the tips off. This is a tall sedum.

I have no idea what Autumn Delight looks like, unfortunately.

Here's Autum Fire just starting to get color:

Tabby your Red Cauli and Maestro are gorgeous. Really like the color combo. I've seen that bloom somewhere around here Holly. Is it really that robin's egg blue? Super!
