Would anyone be interested in Weeping Yaupon Holly (Ilex Vomitoria 'Pendula')? No promises, but I have quite a few cuttings I'm attempting to root. Yaupon Holly is closely related to Yerba Mate (Ilex Paraguariensis), and shares it's use as a caffeinated tea. In fact, Yaupon Holly is the only caffeinated North American native plant. The cultivar I have, 'Pendula', is a female weeping cultivar. It has a very unique form, especially for a broad-leaved evergreen.

Lisa, thx for offering an epimedium! Aspenhill introduced me to them, and I have a couple of places where I have one doing well... so now I think I can grow them. Smiling Such a cute plant. Thanks!

--Just want to add that I have. NOT 100% official--but close...

-- 4 of Donner's PINK Clumbines all rooted. (Could not find the photos)..They seemed pretty non-descript...

--I 4or6 Red Rose campions (seed from AK) that are growing well in a 4-pack

Will have to wait and see them grow out till next year.

--Will have a couple rooted Montauk Dsaisies (have to check)....

--Can take a lot of cuttings to root of the "Inky Fingers" Coleus. Snip..snip...Such a prolific beauty!

--3 Delaware Valley (White) Azaleas rooted from last year. May have a couple more...Have to look.

--4 rooted Sedums--NOD--I posted a picture way back...little pea-sized balls on stems.
Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/0b3be3 Hope this is the right piture???

---***** Only 4 of the Maya cuttings seem to be rooted and OK. The others rotted out. Too much water!
Chantelle you asked for 6. NOT gonna happen! Lisa--you also wanted some. You did not specify how many.
LMK if you want any--Lisa--or Chantelle will br getting all 4. LMK ASAP--please.

--Also--Chantelle--you asked for seeds of the Winky Purple Columbine. WILL DO!
I write here that I have only the pink ones rooted from Donner. Will do!
Hopefully, next year, I can WS the pretty blue one. So far--I just have seeds of it. LMK!

--Have maybe 6 PINK rooted Columbines (from Donner).

Won't have any of the blue ones until next year. I can give you some seeds to WS though. LMK

Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/68a9cf

I am rooting (successfully) several cuttings of the Brazilian Plume Flower. Mine is so huge this year!
They root in a blink of the eye!
Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/57d33c

Also found out that "Persian Shield cuttings root easily.
Hmmm--I suppose this late in the season--you may have to grow them out as Houseplants.
Mine are HIUGE!!!--this is just two planst!!!
Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/57d33c

--Still have to cut up my Ric Rac cactus in sections. (Jill--Donna--and Frenchie21) Anyone else???
I think I will cut them up and let them scab over and stick them in small pots for you OK?

--Same for the true CC--May help them get a good start. Have Chantelle and Shy Gardener asking for these.
Anyone else?
--Spider plants--"Bonnie" for Jill---Frenchie??? How many do you want?

JUDY )Coleup)---
I can dig you up a few clumps of the "Great Blue Salvia" They WILL be massive!!!
Right now--they are in pretty good bloom. So bunched up!!! Clumps so large and thick...
Any advice?
Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/0f04a6

I am collecting oodles of seeds for the "Lady -in-Red Salvia" hey have been growing so
well and tall this summer. Here is a Pic. LMK if you want seeds now? The need to be WS'n.
Thumb of 2016-08-19/gitagal/6b0b65

Hope this is, somewhat, up to date.
If you want seeds of anything--just ask. I have hundreds of seeds. Gita

Not sure what this was a picture of---I am doing a lot of C?P and sometimes it is hard to keep track.
All you get is the "digital" gobledygoop--and then I forget what that was a picture of.

Sorry! BUT--you all know plants--so I am sure yu can ID which is what.

Gita - I will send you a tree mail but be assured if I asked for six brugs I was obviously typing in my sleep… I absolutely positively do not have room for that many unless I start kicking family members out of bedrooms. That being said I would be very grateful for one if you have enough to share.

Thanks for the updates Gita.
On the Great Blue Lobelia, I do have a 'suggestion'. Since your clump is doing so well and in it's prime seems like digging up and dividing now is not the best time. If it were me, I would dig and divide in the Spring. Since GBL emerges a bit later in Spring, be sure to leave the flower stalks so you can tell where plant is. If you want to dig and move /thin plant for the Swap, I'm fine with that, too. Just don't get heat stroke doing it! Judy/Coleup/MariposaMaid

Life is "mind over matter". If I d
Judy--
Will the GBL survive through the winter? The ffoliage will die back. Yes? no?

As I recall--when these clumps were just starting to grow--I thought they were weeds.
I have pictures--need to find date....
SO---I think that if there are 4 clumps I should be able to dig them up. Then again--their roots
are probably all intertwined.
I could let them be--and let Nature take it's course and then dig them up for you by the seed swap.

Here are 2 pictures from June of the "weed'....I would think that each "florette" of new growth is a separate plant?
If it is--then there are several plants. If not--then it is one big bunch.
I am confused now what to do????/ Confused Gita

Gita,

Your offers are so nice, your plants are gorgeous...

If no one else wants the Montauk Daisies, I'd love to have them if they wind up being available.

And the Persian Shield and Brazilian Plume Flower, If you have any extra of them...

Yes, this isn't a plant...but I have 3 of these Hunter "Tea Stain" glass ceiling fan globes (10" diameter, 4" high) and I'm sure one or more of you incredibly creative people could use them to make a gorgeous potted plant display. So, I'm offering them for use as planters while I figure out which plants I'll be able to bring. Any takers?

(If anyone wants to use them for their intended purpose, I also have the light kits that go with them. They're new; I changed my mind about the type of light fixtures I wanted in my ceiling fans.)

Why not list them in the swap?
