|We grew sweetcorn for the first time last year. I was looking at your answers on sweetcorn problems and seen planting in blocks. Our corn was not the best. It was small, but we had a very dry season last year. Our other vegetables did great. Can you define it for me? We are new at this and want to learn as much as we can.

|Planting corn in blocks means a planting the corn in a grouping of several shorter rows side by side rather than one long row. This faciliates pollination.
