This clematis is fairly easy to grow in my zone 8a SC garden and thrives in full sun. Its blooms do not fade in intense sunshine.

Bambi came and ate Dr Ruppel. Nearly all the leaves and left the vines. I pruned it down to about 6". I'm disgusted!
NikkiGerena On April 27, 2017 Maintenance performed
Pruned all vines back to 12". Hoping for more bushy growth and good root establishment.
