    I don't know for an absolute fact, but I had heard from a few sources that this is a hybrid of Laui and the cultivar 'Hakkou'. Hakkou is a hybrid of Laui x pallida. This makes sense that cream tea would have a lot of Laui in its lineage as it looks almost exactly like a full species laui.
