Young farmer need some advice on what's the best way to plant peanut set the seed then transplant or plant straight in the ground

I agree, plant them directly in the ground!

I used to add peanuts, Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) birdseed for the Blue Jays but squirrels also like them a lot and would bury them in my yard; I'd find little plants popping up all over the garden, compliments of the squirrels. One time I decided to place some peanuts into a hanging basket, just to watch them grow. Smiling
