Not a bloom yet, but this was my first ever phal orchid. It was gifted to my father in February, and then regifted to me shortly after. The poor phal was originally from Kroger, then kept in a room with no light, and then exposed to sub-freezing temps for a short period of time. Needless to say, it got bud blast. I'm so happy I was able to keep it alive and give it a good enough home for the purple beauty to give me the beauty of some buds. Big Grin Hurray!

Very nice Prahbi!
I think that this is my favorite bifoliate Cattleya species. Yours has nice petals and good form. Like it a whole lot!

We have a tiny survivor here - V. falcata Shutenno x V. ampullaceum. The tiny main plant had "quit" but I kept it anyway since many times these seemingly dead Vandas might grow a keiki. This one did and to my surprise managed to produce 1 bloom.

I am growing this shrubbery of Coelogyne fimbriata for many years and I rarely get a show of many blooms. Most of the time I see a cute bloom here and there throughout the year. These 2 plants are crawling over a piece of bark and I flood them daily. One of them actually still came from Hoosier Orchids.

Here are some older pics to show this plant before it decided to die back. I managed to start it up again as two plants.

Could your Phragmipedium be a Sorcerers' Apprentice? Or maybe a hybrid of it?
Boy, that Cattleya looks an awful lot like Chocolate Drop or again, a hybrid?

That Renantanda Boon Rob is interesting, Is that another new name? The flower says Vanda, but what I can see of the plant doesn't say Vanda. Confused

Yes, Bill! Good eye! This is indeed a hybrid with Sorcerer's Apprentice, it is Sorcerer's Fire.
And I couldn't resist another picture of C. Chocolate Drop 'Kodama' and the V. Sirilak x Kultana (or something like it).

Wonderful, Jim. The color on the bowringiana is stunning and who doesn't love the little antelopes.

Mine had a spike starting up when I left, maybe flowers to see in the morning for me. Plane gets in to Sarasota at midnight-ish.

Where to begin, where to start?
Jim, gorgeous flowers!
I am always torn between my love for skinneri and my love for bowringiana. I can never decide. One blooms in the spring and bowringiana blooms in October. You can " set your calendar" by when bowringiana blooms. But for me, I think bowringiana gets a slight advantage over the sheer number of flowers!! They both are so gorgeous!
Nice plant.
Antelope Dendrobiums are so darn cute. And yours is fantastically colored. The lip is beautiful and the horns are brown tipped! Sweet!
The Rhein Moonlight is a nice, dark flower. I have never tried one. Perhaps I will get the courage one day to try one.
Thank you so much for the show! Thumbs up

And what a beautiful show it is! Lovey dubby
I think a good reason to get a gorgeous bowringiana is exactly that, they are blooming in October! I have to keep an open for one at the next show/sale. Personally I love it when I bring my plants inside after their Summer outside and the Fall flowering Orchids start up!
