I want to make a three-section bin and make big piles now! I feel so accomplished and proud seeing it look and smell fantastic. Can't wait to use it in the spring!

This was a couple of years ago. I believe I started using finished sifted compost from the bottom of the pile after about three months. It was a hot summer in the southern US so it cooked pretty fast. I've been tending my pile for a couple of years and it is about a two ft tall finished pile now. I need to sift it and get it ready for this year.
