I am thinking about transplanting this plant and would like to research it more.

I purchased this at a plant sale and have lost the tag.
I recall looking it up before and a webpage mentioning that it is commonly planted in PNW parks and that it can be sticky. I keep thinking "glauca" should be in the name but nothing matches and it is definitely not bluish.
It blooms may/june, but I do not have a picture of the flowers but they resemble white hellebores with burgundy stamens, but the petal thickness is thinner.

You got it! I am in awe!

It wasn't glauca - it was GLUTINOSA that I was trying to remember.

Upon googling it, I had thought it was a Pacific Northwest native since I recalled it being well suited. That's because it is CHILEAN (wrong side of the Americas LOL). Chilean and New Zealand plants seem to be recommended up here in Seattle.

This has really made my day, thank you so much!

Delighted to help.
They are very common up here in Scotland UK, just stunning to see when in full flower.
One day I must sit and learn how to tell one species from another.

Eucryphia glutinosa pic below are from Crathes castle...

If/when I ever visit Scotland, I will be on the lookout!
I had hoped to visit the some gardens in the UK this year, but that got cancelled. Hopefully us Americans will be allowed in at some point again.
