I would love to plant spinach and kale. However the slugs took bites out of every single lettuce leaf in my summer garden. They were in pots because I don't have gardening space. I live on the southern Oregon coast. Frankly, I'm disgusted. The only crop in pots the slugs don't destroy are my cherry tomatoes.

I use egg shells and Sluggo around and in my pots to fight off slugs.
