Willow trees really don't like the heat; Florida will probably be a stretch.
I had a corkscrew willow - it was a great tree. The tree grew much larger than advertised, the roots took out the driveway, it defoliated twice a year and finally, it fell on my house. That's when I discovered the entire center was rotted out, apparently a common problem.
