Getting to the end of the season, with fewer blooming everyday; still have some rebloomers that hope to keep going, and a few planted this season that are just now putting up scapes...time will tell. Had something very large run through some of the beds in the night breaking down "Fringy" and a few others with budded scapes...there's always next year.

"Sisters of Mercy" was looking good this morning...the blush a bit softer before the sun hits it.

Take care,

Keith

Han,
I really would like to know the name of some of these! Do you know the names? One of them looks like what I call my "favorite noid" that I have been in search of the name for forever! If I count down from the top, can you tell me what they are?

I can't believe I was out back for 12 hours today and never noticed Supermodel had it's ffoe until it was almost dark.

Here is Alpha and Omega's ffoe before cutting the short scape.

Hi, Hans/ @heart2heart ! - Thank you, wonderful pictures! : ) But, is the 8th picture on August 10th of a hedgehog/‘igel’? It made me nostalgic for Europe, especially since as far as I know there aren’t hedgehogs here in California – or maybe in the US, in general – and I haven’t seen one in real life in quite a while.

Well Elizabete ... this hedgehog is very cut. When I took the pic it was about 40 inch. close to me. I met it yesterday too.

@ Susan (virginiarose) this one is Flore Pleno (need to have more than 12 tepals - diffrent to Kwanso [7 up to 12 tepals])

@ caitlinsgarden
I know the names of most shown pix. Which one do want to know?

Sorry for shown images without names. I don´t want to have adopt pix to the DB without copyright or pix in a bad quality ... like it happened.

Thanks for queestions and comments.

Han, you have control over all that! Click on your profile and select ' change your site preferences ' scroll down and select your watermark, right now you have the large geographical watermark. When you upload a picture to the data base you have a place to add your copyright and where your garden is located, it is a default. You only have to tell them one time, but you can change it anytime you want. Also, if you have a picture you do not like for whatever reason you can click on the picture, scroll down and select ' delete this picture ' the administrator for the data base will delete, no questions asked, but you can add a small explanation like 'I will upload better picture' or ' I do not like this picture'. Hope this helps.

As Summer fades into Fall here in Vermont, with night time temps at 48 degrees last night, look what opened for me this morning. Surprise, surprise!

TAL OF GASCONE.....FFOE. Bold, dramatic, and definitely cannot be missed in the garden. Planted last Fall, 2012.
