I saw these pretty things at a lodge outside Park City Utah, last weekend. Altitude was about 6000ft.
They're about 4ft tall but have been neatly pruned so no reference as to how big they might get.
Foliage looks like a salvia, but it has round, twiggy stems, not square. Has an aromatic scent somewhat like lavender but neither leaves nor flowers resemble lavender.
There were deer around every day but they didn't touch it.
