I know this isn't much to go on, but I'm hoping someone will recognize the leaves on this vine which appeared in my yard (Zone 7).
It has not flowered yet; the flowers in the photo are from another plant.
The leaves don't look like any of the non-native vines growing near me. I ruled out several plants because these leaves are not pointed at the ends.
I'll let it grow and see if it flowers, unless someone tells me it's one of the many Asian vines that have taken over.

The little stems/leaves/maybe flowers growing from the nodes in your first photo make me think maybe wild buckwheat (Polygonum convolvulus) ... they look a lot like field bindweed until they bloom. Maybe that's the convolvulus part.

Thanks for the suggestions, Lucy! I think it's a type of bindweed, but I might let it bloom to find out for sure. I'll mark this identified for now.

I agree. See ID pics here. I had a difficult time eliminating it from my garden.
