This particular variety is very much different than those I have grown before. My previous three varieties had subtle differences since as narrow lip/wide lip and narrow column/wide column. A couple of the varieties had lime petals/sepals changing to white, majority white columns/lips, and one with a hint of lime the further back into the column you went. This latest variety started out completely lime-colored - lip, column, petals, and sepals. Everything was highly freckled as well. Over a couple of weeks, the freckles pretty much disappeared from those petals/sepals but remained in the column. The back of the column is very much lime as are the sepals/petals, but most of the column and lip is pure white. I know a lot of these differences are subtle and the pictures by-and-large are not close-up enough to see some things well, but all four varieties have been different.

@daisyl, here are two pictures of this latest variety, as it just began to open up. The freckles are more obvious here. Remember to click on the photo to get the best view. Is this what your B. nodosa looked like when opening?

Nice blooms, Ken!

Here is V. Lim Guan Cheo, which is Kultana Oriental (brunnea x tessellata) x luzonica. This is the 2nd plant's blooms. I am so glad I picked up two plants. These are really nice!

I'm sorry I always show you the same orchids. But I don't have new ones and this Oncidium divaricatum ( Ex pulvinatum) has very nice blooms this year

Cici, That is beyond 'very nice', its SPECTACULAR!

Ken, I didn't pay much attention when the B. nodosa 'Little Stars" was opening. Its doesn't have spots though; in my mind, it has nothing that stands out to point to the ID of "little Stars". Your's definitely show differences.

We don't mind seeing your beautiful orchids any time, Ceci. I'm another with not that many orchids, and I happily post multiple pictures of mine when they're blooming. Who can get tired of seeing those lovely flowers? I see mine every day and don't ever get tired of them.

My Blc. Punakea opened another spike yesterday, so has been in almost constant bloom since mid-November. Lc. Renate is one of my generous bloomers, here with two nice spikes.

I hope Veekay moves her Catasetum schunkei over to this thread because that flower is fantastic. Here is a picture of it from Fred Clarke:

Ceci, you grow very nice Oncidiums down there in Argentina. That is a great looking plant. I may be coming your way next January.

Melissa, love your V. Lim Guan Cheo. Both the form and color of the flower is gorgeous.

Elaine, nice color on the Brassocatanthe [Bct.] Punakea. Your Catt. collection is looking good.

Gigi, I agree that those tree Catts are loving life. Good growing.

Ken, nice collection of nodosas. I wonder where the spotting is coming from?

Ursula, nice show as always. You have such a wonderful collection.

Patty is off to Peru for three weeks so I have to take her to the airport early tomorrow and then race back to sing in church. It never ends.

Elaine , I love Lovey dubby your Lc. Renate.. Great colors and so many cheerful flowers!
Gigi.. I chickened out and brought all my plants in ( again )... Mid 40's at night is outside of my comfort zone!... Your Catt on the tree doesn't seem to mind the gold one bit.

Gigi, I'm also amazed at your beautiful Catt blooming away out in the cold. But I do think the tree probably gives it some protection, too. It's really happy!

I have one poor little Catt that was fastened to a trellis way up high in the pool cage and I forgot about it for the first round of cold weather. Since then I thought "well, might as well find out if it hurts it" and left it out there when everyone else came indoors last week. It looks just fine and dandy!

Saw Patty at a craft show today, and she says she hadn't brought any orchids indoors yet. Guess I'm probably being over-protective.

I had most everything else indoors last night, took them all out today, and they're still out there. We were out all day with our house guests and I just don't have the energy to schlepp orchids inside tonight. So . . . hoping it's not too cold - hmm it's down to 55. Well, maybe I'll just manage to rescue the Vandas . . . here I go Sighing!
