Ha ha - I even had to look up 'turnpike' - no idea what that was. Washington recently added some 'pay to play' lanes to our freeway system as well as a toll bridge, which are totally confusing (you somehow get a bill in the mail, not sure what happens if you are from out of state on a road trip or something, my guess is late fees would apply). I just stay out of them. I liked the old school method of dropping 50 cents (or whatever) in a container.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

Texas went to straight cameras on the pikes (eastern term) but Houston gave in and put 'cashboxes' on Beltway8. Cashbox referring to a body in a box with change and receipts for the working folks. Or a fishnet to catch the change thrown at it, chuckl. Flyway refers to nonstop. Sunpikes (Florida) tollroads, turnpikes, I forget all the terms used. They tag your license plate and mail to you. You CAN fight the charges. We have a Harley in the garage that doesnt move, but Tollroad Authority occasionally sends us a bill for a black picture of a lic plate on it every so often. Mostly online access
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
