I have my plant list set to display in alphabetical order but after the first page they get pretty random. Also Varieties are not showing up as part of the species category even when the proper box is checked.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Will.
I just looked at your wonderful list. It looks like it is all alphabetically listed. Starting with the generic entries.
All of the entries from the database are in alphabetical order by scientific name.

Great list. Thumbs up

Yes, the are in order by currently accepted botanical name but it looks confusing because, except for the generic entries, the common name is listed before the botanical. It's necessary to train your eye to ignore the common name while looking down the list.

Thanks for the prompt answer and the kind words. I was thrown off by the first page or so that starts with plants without a scientific name in the entry being the first group then plants being listed with scientific nomenclature.

I can understand your confusion. I didn't know one could enter a generic plant without a link to the database. I do wish the entire list feature would display the botanic name first with the common name in parentheses, especially since the common name can change depending on member input. But, that's been discussed and I don't remember what the reason was why the common name is displayed first.

That would be nice Deb. I can't remember the reason either.
