Temp is down to 42 this morning, sure seems strange to be this cool after being so warm last week. Cloudy, expecting some much needed rain. It's really dry out there.

It is cloudy and raining now, with temperature of about 18 C or 64 F. The forecast calls for similar weather tomorrow.

We got a real drenching on Friday with the horrible storm, but we need rain after the hot, dry summer, so a couple of days of it is welcome.

It was confirmed last night that the destruction near us on Friday was a third tornado.

I saw the videos and pictures on the internet. Absolutely devastating and so glad you are ok

Thanks, Ginny. Other than losing our power, we were fine. Maybe losing 7 trees in May, and a ton of branches, got rid of the weak stuff. I just talked to a friend and they had a tree go through their back door. We are back to normal here, but for others the ordeal has just begun.

Cool and rainy here today after 3 cool days in a row.

We have a toaster oven that I've warmed my hands over a few times. Also the big floor lamp in the living room, lamp shade holds the heat from the light bulb.

Never got above 53 today making it cold and damp inside. Turned the furnace on again. Nice light steady rain all day put almost an inch in the rain gauge. Looks like tomorrow will be warmer with possible severe afternoon storms. Then a string of perfect fall temps with 60's for highs upper 40's/50's for lows. Time to finish the garden clean up and dust off the woodstove.
