Found this weird plant while hunting today. It's a weird plant, about 2 to 3 feet high, has spikes on the top part, which is large and round and contains a LOT of white silk like stuff and small flat things, probably seeds.

Picture of the weird silk like stuff.

Any idea what it is? I am in South Idaho, by the way. I am just curious what it is.

Some type of Milkweed pod and seeds?

edited to add link to database with photos for comparison to Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca)

You're right. At closer examination of the seeds I found in the Pod, and looking at the picture of the seeds from the database, it looks like you are right. The seeds match exactly.

So, that's a milkweed, huh? Never seen one until today.
