I had to look up that Zephyranthes as I was not familar with it. I have no idea where he even got seeds for rainlilies. I never had any. When he brought them in & I just thought they wete just a pot of grass. I know the green pit had been laying out in the yard empty. When I asked him where he got the plants from. He just made a vague reference to out under my picnick table right out in front of my house. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. So I just dropped the subject.
Yesyerday I asked him to help me transplant them
They seemed like they wete getting over crowded in that little pot. Still thinking them to be onions we transplanted them inro a raised bed in my unheated greenhouse. Sorta like a cold frame. We did water them Rolling on the floor laughing Might be fun to see what they do. I tip my hat to you.
Happy Gardening :-)
