Hi,

Can someone identify If this is a real Jasmine plant belonging to the Oleaceae family, or if it's a Confederate Jasmine (also known as Chinese Star Jasmine) which belongs to the Apocynaceae family?

The latter family of Jasmines have no medicinal effects, and the smell is more like a mix of honeysuckle and synthetic Jasmine oil?

I am surprised because down here in Texas, you mostly see "Confederate Jasmines", but from the research I have done, it could very well be a real Jasmine belonging to the Oleaceae family.

I would greatly appreciate it: if someone could identify this plant for me.

Furthermore, if you can identify the species of this particular 'Jasmine' that would be very helpful as well.
