Thank you so much for the great news and information. I did look at dogwoods on line and I believe I even saw the trees you were referring to with the lights wrapped around the trunk! I'm delighted to know the tree is okay and to know what kind of dogwood it is.
I agree, it is a beautiful change that I can now enjoy!
